Let’s start with a lunch menu, a Nasi lemak, well it can be eaten as a breakfast too .
I am having a lunch appointment with a friend who just back from her hometown yesterday. I asked her on where we gonna eat today and I would have been guessed the place correctly. Yes, It is an authentic Malaysian restaurant near our campus, Dish wood dew or we call it DWD.
I thought it might be a good start for my food blogging entry and so I decided to take this picture, although I did not come prepared with all necessary equipment, I mean a camera.
For those of you, -dear reader- who still don’t know. Nasi lemak is very Malaysian and is regarded as national dish. The idea of it, is a fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and served with boiled egg, slices of cucumber, deep fried anchovy, roasted peanuts, and traditional chili paste. There you got a basic Nasi Lemak.
But It still too plain
So I ordered a Rendang chicken that came with nasi Lemak. Rendang is a spicy meat dish that originated from Indonesia. I will have a one whole post dedicated to Rendang.
That’s it, Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken.
